The festivities in honour of San Roque in La Laguna 2025 concluded yesterday with a pilgrimage along the mountain paths that bear his name. The mountain will once again be filled with a festive atmosphere on 14th September, the Day of Christ of La Laguna, as it is from this location that the famous Risco fireworks are launched.
Procession Highlights
At 1:00 PM, the procession commenced, featuring the revered image transported on a cart pulled by a beautiful pair of oxen, accompanied by a musical ensemble. The statue of San Roque made its return to the hermitage, pausing for a brief rest midway through the journey. During this stop, refreshments were served, which were gratefully received by the devoted followers accompanying the image.
