Tinajo celebrates the Fiestas in honour of the Virgin of Los Dolores, the patron saint of Lanzarote. These festivities blend religious tradition, culture, music, and activities for the whole family, making the municipality a festive landmark on the island.
Festival Kick-off
The celebrations commence on Monday, 1st September at the Socio-Cultural Centre of Mancha Blanca, featuring children’s and youth board game tournaments, including Ludo, chess, cards, and noughts and crosses. Throughout the week, visitors will enjoy workshops, sports tournaments, children’s activities, and concerts, ensuring fun for all ages.

- 4th September: Children’s dessert competition and traditional games; women’s chinchón championship.
- 10th September: Pencil-making workshop using recycled materials and the opening of the 36th Craft Fair of Lanzarote.

- 6th September: Closing of the Tinajo You Trail with a performance by the Jaleo group in the Plaza de Los Dolores.
