Five-Year-Old Suffers Moderate Near-Drowning in Tenerife Hotel Pool
A five-year-old child has suffered a moderate incomplete drowning incident at a hotel pool in Adeje, Tenerife, according to reports from 1-1-2 Canarias.
Emergency Response
The incident occurred at approximately 11:21 AM when the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 received an alert about the rescue of a child exhibiting signs of drowning at a hotel pool in the south of the island.
Medical Assistance
Upon arrival, the SUC personnel attended to the child, who was displaying moderate signs of drowning. After stabilisation, he was transported by ambulance to Hospiten Sur for further treatment.
Investigation
The Local Police of Adeje are conducting an investigation into the incident.
