The island corporation is allocating €45,000 from the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN) for the organisation of this latest edition, which also receives support from the Puerto del Rosario Ayuntamiento. With this funding, the Cabildo is enhancing the event by providing resources for production, communication, model recruitment, and additional activities.

Fuerteventura Fashion Week 2025 aims to showcase local designers while helping to strengthen the island’s position as a creative hub and cultural destination internationally.

Nuria Cabrera, the Economic Promotion councillor, stated, “In addition to its artistic value, the event will have a direct impact on the local economy, benefiting the retail sector, generating employment, and diversifying Fuerteventura’s offerings.” She added, “The extensive media coverage will further enhance Fuerteventura’s image as a cultural and fashion landmark.”

The organisers emphasise the event as a unique opportunity to highlight the talent of Canary Island designers and establish Fuerteventura as the fashion capital of the Canaries.
