The Canary Islands airports are operating 1,279 flights this Saturday, right in the midst of the August bank holiday. Furthermore, operations have increased compared to the previous year, when a total of 1,143 flights were recorded on 16 August.
According to data provided by Aena, 211 and 237 flights will pass through Tenerife North and South airports, respectively, while Lanzarote and Fuerteventura airports will see 208 and 170 flights. Meanwhile, Gran Canaria Airport will handle 368 flights, La Palma will have 59, La Gomera will see 8, and El Hierro will have 18.
Out of the total operations taking place this Saturday, 532 will be international flights.
