Observations:

  • At the specified time, staff from SOS La Oliva alerted the Coordinating Centre for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Canary Islands Government, reporting that they had found a person in the malpaís area who required medical assistance.

  • Given that the affected individual was in an area difficult for medical resources to access, the GES helicopter was activated to carry out the rescue and transport to the hospital.
