Rescue Operation for Injured Hiker
On Monday, the GES helicopter conducted a rescue operation for an injured hiker on the El Bayuyo path in the municipality of La Oliva, according to information from the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 112.
The male hiker sustained an injury to his lower limb and was rescued by the aerial unit before being transported to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura.
Additionally, the operation involved personnel from the La Oliva Fire Brigade, Civil Protection, and the Local Police.
