Fire in Santa Cruz de Tenerife Affects Four Individuals

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 22 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) – Four individuals, comprising one woman and three minors, have been affected by smoke inhalation this Friday due to a fire in a residential property in Santa Cruz de Tenerife during the morning hours, according to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

Incident Details

The incident occurred around 10:00 am, when the 1-1-2 operations room received an alert reporting a fire in a residence located on the first floor of a four-storey building. In response, Cecoes promptly activated the necessary emergency resources to address the situation.

Firefighting Efforts

Upon arrival, firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium proceeded to extinguish the flames originating from the kitchen of the property. Following the fire control, they ventilated the premises.

Medical Response

Meanwhile, medical staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service attended to the woman and the three minors, all of whom exhibited varying degrees of intoxication due to smoke inhalation. They were subsequently transported to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de La Candelaria.

Police Involvement

The Local Police took charge of conducting investigations, while working alongside the National Police and Civil Protection to assist the remaining emergency resources on-site.
