JUIN Exhibits in Arrecife “You Have Rained Too. How to Navigate Pain”

The Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz in Arrecife is hosting an exhibition by Lanzarote artist JUIN, titled “You Have Rained Too. How to Navigate Pain”. This exhibition, which is free to enter, is part of the cultural initiative 2025 by the Centres of Arts, Culture, and Tourism of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and is curated by the Tenerife-based Elena García.

An Exhibition Exploring Emotions

JUIN presents an artistic and sensory journey divided into four chapters: denial, entry into pain, confrontation, and calm. While painting is the main focus of the exhibition, the artist enhances the experience with installations and audiovisual pieces, creating an immersive experience for visitors.

Inauguration with Institutional Support

The inauguration, held this Friday, was attended by the Councillor for Culture of the City Council of Arrecife, Abigail González Guillén, who encouraged the public to visit the exhibit:

“This exhibition showcases the artistic talent that abundantly exists in our city. I invite everyone to enjoy it.”

Free Entry Until 18th October

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Casa de la Cultura Agustín de la Hoz until 18th October 2025, during regular hours. Admission is free, making this cultural event a unique opportunity to experience the work of one of Lanzarote’s most prominent contemporary creators.
