Creating Opportunities for All
The conference aims to create opportunities across various sectors of the population. This includes young people, entrepreneurs, businesses, educational centres, and individuals actively seeking employment. During these days, participants will enjoy practical workshops, talks, and round tables covering various relevant topics. These include crafting an inclusive CV, entrepreneurial spirit, professional skills, as well as the employment challenges and opportunities specific to northern Fuerteventura.
Encouraging Participation
The Mayor of La Oliva, Isaí Blanco, highlighted the opportunity this event provides. “Participants in this third edition of the Employment Conference will be able to make the most of this event. It aims to assist different population groups in finding employment, enhancing their knowledge, and expanding professionally.”
Meanwhile, the Local Development Councillor, Alexandra Martín, emphasised “the involvement of collaborating businesses and organisations, as well as the opportunity for participants to submit their CVs directly to companies that are hiring. This is a real and direct way to connect local talent with the business fabric. Our slogan, ‘I am in control of my professional future’, encapsulates the essence of these conferences. It empowers individuals to take charge of their own path.”
“I invite everyone to participate actively and take advantage of the resources we provide. Let us continue to build a more prosperous, dynamic municipality with more opportunities for all,” stated Martín.
Through this conference, the Town Council reaffirms its commitment to supporting citizens in building their professional futures, promoting employability, self-employment, and the economic development of the municipality.
