Lagomar Museum Launches LagoARTE: A Series of Cultural Experiences with Live Art and Local Flavours

The Lagomar Museum, located in Nazaret (Lanzarote), is set to launch LagoARTE this October, a new cultural initiative that combines art, landscape, heritage, and local gastronomy. This initiative promotes artistic, experiential, and participatory experiences designed to connect the audience with their surroundings in a creative and sensory manner.

First Workshop: Life Drawing with Alessandro Pugiotto

The programme kicks off on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, with a life drawing workshop in collaboration with The Canarian and Venetian illustrator Alessandro Pugiotto, who resides in Fuerteventura.

This activity will take place in the gallery of the Lagomar Museum and is aimed at art enthusiasts and observers. It includes a proposal that combines on-site illustration, a guided tour, and tasting local products.

A Creative and Sensory Experience in Lanzarote

The two-hour workshop includes:

  • Private access to the museum and a mini photographic tour with the artist.
  • A practical life drawing session with all materials provided.
  • Tasting of Malvasía wine and a local canapé in a relaxed setting.

The workshop is designed for those aged 18 and over, requires no prior experience, and will be conducted in a bilingual format (Spanish and English). Participation is limited to 25 people.

An Artist with an International Perspective

Alessandro Pugiotto, born in Venice, is an internationally recognised illustrator and educator with a significant background in cultural and editorial contexts. His work focuses on observing the environment and visual storytelling.
“This workshop invites participants to look at Lanzarote with new eyes. Drawing is not just about representation; it is also a way to feel and connect with the place,” the artist remarks.
