Man Injured in Tenerife Vehicle Accident
A 44-year-old man was injured this Sunday following a vehicle departure from the road and subsequent rollover on the TF-21, near kilometre marker 20, in the municipality of La Orotava, Tenerife.
The incident was reported around midday to the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands, which immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Rescue teams from the Tenerife Fire Brigade freed the driver, who had become trapped inside the vehicle.
Subsequently, medical personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the individual, who sustained multiple moderate trauma, before transporting him by basic life support ambulance to Hospiten Bellevue.
The operation also involved officers from the Civil Guard, who conducted the necessary investigations, as well as the Road Maintenance Service, responsible for clearing the roadway.
