The Plaza del Cristo de Tacoronte hosted the Miss Norte 2025 gala last night, which took place before a packed audience of nearly 1,500 people. The event was directed by Sandro Pérgola and featured 21 contestants.

New Title Holder

The young Claudia Díaz from La Orotava was crowned the new Miss Norte, with the honourable mentions going to Sheila Torres (El Sauzal) as the first runner-up and Deysi Fariña (Garachico) as the second runner-up.

Community Support

The Tacoronte Town Council highlighted that hosting Miss Norte in the municipality has served as an excellent promotional showcase for the area. They noted that the event, directed by Sandro Pérgola, is a benchmark for such productions, noted for its dynamism and rigour. Most mayors and councillors from the northern municipalities were present, accompanied by Tacoronte’s mayor, Sandra Izquierdo, and the events councillor, Noemí García.

More Than a Beauty Contest

Miss Norte is much more than just a beauty contest. Each year, the focus is on meticulously promoting the main advantages and attractions of the northern municipalities. Its long-standing reputation as a prestigious brand, along with the audience it draws annually through television broadcasts, makes it an unbeatable opportunity for the municipalities that choose to host it each edition, enhancing the profile of the contestants involved.
