The Urban Planning Department of Arrecife City Council, led by Maciot Cabrera, has presented new licences to the Local Government Board today. These licences will enable the addition of 33 new homes to the capital’s residential park, as well as 26 parking spaces across various buildings.Among the approved initiatives are projects on streets including Andalucía, Antonio Bermúdez, Isabel la Católica, Triana, La Inés, Fajardo, and Tinache. These developments will contribute to urban regeneration and the modernisation of residential areas in several neighbourhoods of the city.
Addressing Housing Demand
Cabrera emphasised that these approvals represent an important step in responding to the real housing demand within the municipality and addressing the needs of local residents. “We are facilitating urban regeneration in various neighbourhoods and improving the livability of the city,” he noted.
Enhanced Mobility and Services
Moreover, Cabrera highlighted that “the addition of new parking spaces supports more organised mobility and provides complementary services to the future homes.”
Through these approvals, the Urban Planning Department continues to progress in enhancing Arrecife’s housing stock and providing services that facilitate the daily lives of residents, while simultaneously strengthening economic activity linked to the construction sector in the city.
