Robbery of Motorcycle in Las Palmas: One Arrested, Second Identified

Officers from the Special Night Unit (UNE) of the Local Police in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria intervened last night in a motorcycle theft that occurred while the vehicle was parked on a public roadway, as reported by the force on their social media channels.
Incident Details
The incident took place in the Guanarteme district when an off-duty officer alerted the police about the ongoing theft. After identifying the suspects, a chase ensued, during which the perpetrators fell onto the road.
Arrests and Ongoing Search
One suspect was apprehended at the scene, while the other managed to flee. However, according to the Local Police, “the second individual has been identified and remains at large.”
