Part of a building classified as protected by Heritage collapsed on Thursday afternoon in the locality of La Costa, Tinajo.

Incident Details

The incident occurred at number 5, Guirre Street, prompting the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium to intervene following a notification from the Local Police, who reported a technical assistance issue due to the roof collapse.

Emergency Response

Upon arrival, emergency personnel confirmed that the structure was a heritage-protected house and that one of its rear walls was partially destroyed. Due to the risk of total structural collapse, it was decided to cordon off the building and secure the perimeter.

Response Classification

The intervention was classified as level 2 and was carried out by the Central Park and unit Bravo 6. No injuries have been reported.
