The Councillor for Festivals and Deputy Mayor, Echedey Eugenio, highlights the strong community participation and encourages everyone to proudly continue enjoying the patron celebrations of the capital of Lanzarote.

Tradition and Participation in the San Ginés Festival

The San Ginés Festival 2025 continues to offer residents and visitors a diverse programme that combines music, tradition, and popular activities. In addition to major concerts ranging from urban music to traditional Canarian folk, the city has also hosted intergenerational gatherings such as the Elderly Gathering, Canarian ball championships, and cultural performances for all ages.

The programme does not only focus on large stages. The jolateros regatta, the envite championship, classic popular verbenas, and the amateur radio meet-up are among the activities that each year enhance the participatory and festive nature of these celebrations.

Pride for the Third Capital of the Canary Islands

The Councillor for Festivals and Deputy Mayor of Arrecife, Echedey Eugenio, expressed his satisfaction with the public’s response:

“The excellent reception of the planned events demonstrates that the San Ginés Festival is living up to the status of the third most important capital in the Canary Islands.”

Echedey Eugenio also encouraged the community to continue participating in a festive calendar that combines culture, music, tradition, and modernity, establishing Arrecife as a benchmark for popular celebrations in the Canary Islands.
