PSOE Lanzarote Thanks Hugo Delgado for His Commitment, Dedication and Loyalty to the Socialist Project
The Socialist Party of Lanzarote would like to publicly express its gratitude to Hugo Delgado for his commitment, dedication, and responsibility over recent years, both during his tenure as a councillor in the Cabildo in the last legislature and in the current one, where he was part of the candidate list led by María Dolores Corujo.
Following the recent resignation of Andrés Stinga as councillor, it was Hugo Delgado’s turn to join the Socialist Group in the Cabildo. However, personal and professional reasons prevent him from assuming this responsibility at this time—a decision that the party profoundly respects and understands, which in no way diminishes his commitment to the socialist project and to the citizens of Lanzarote and La Graciosa. Ultimately, Paula Corujo will take over Andrés Stinga’s position.
The Secretary General of PSOE Lanzarote and Member of Congress, María Dolores Corujo, highlighted his contribution publicly: “Hugo is an example of commitment, loyalty, and discreet yet essential work. His role as a councillor was fundamental in promoting progressive policies from the Cabildo, and during this legislature, he has continued to support the principles we advocate for Lanzarote and La Graciosa, representing the Socialist candidate list. I can only express my gratitude for everything he has contributed and will continue to contribute.”
For his part, Hugo Delgado also wished to convey his gratitude to the party and to his local secretary: “I want to thank the Socialist Party of Lanzarote and María Dolores Corujo for the trust they have always placed in me. It has been an honour to be part of this political project and to contribute, from various responsibilities, to the progress of our land. I will always be grateful for the opportunity and the warmth I have received.”
Thus, PSOE Lanzarote thanks Hugo Delgado for “his trajectory, generosity, and constant commitment, wishing him every success in the personal and professional projects he decides to undertake from now on.”
