The awards ceremony took place on Monday at the Fuerteventura Technology Park. The event, organised by the Tourism Board of the Cabildo, recognised around fifteen businesses and tourist services across the island.

The Mayor of Puerto del Rosario, David de Vera, emphasised that: “The Tourist Information Office is much more than a reference point for visitors. It is the showcase of our capital. Receiving this seal signifies that the daily work of attending to thousands of tourists with professionalism meets the highest standards of tourism quality.”
Meanwhile, the Councillor for Tourism, Rosa Rodríguez, highlighted that: “This recognition endorses the efforts of the OIT team. The Integral Quality System for Tourist Destinations (SICTED), promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism and the FEMP, acknowledges good practices in the management of tourist services and the commitment to continuous improvement. Currently, over 80 companies and entities in Fuerteventura hold this distinction, reinforcing the island as a reference destination for quality and excellence.
