Rising Temperatures and Dust

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicts a rise in temperatures this weekend in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, with values exceeding 30 degrees and the presence of dust.

Saturday’s Forecast

On Saturday, generally clear skies are expected, with intermittent cloud cover in the north and west during the early and late hours. Minimum temperatures will remain relatively stable, while maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly. The forecasted values will range between 19 and 28 degrees, although areas inland may exceed 30 degrees.

Additionally, a moderate northeast wind will blow, with stronger intervals expected in the inland regions of the southern half in the afternoon.

Sunday’s Outlook

For Sunday, clear skies are anticipated along with the presence of elevated dust. Temperatures are expected to rise further, with minimums around 20 degrees and maximums reaching 32 degrees, particularly in the southern inland areas of the island. The wind will remain moderate, blowing from the northeast.
