San Ginés Joven Delivers an Unforgettable Night in Arrecife with Maikel Delacalle and Eva Ruiz
This Saturday, Arrecife enjoyed the San Ginés Joven 2025 concert, an event that gathered thousands of young people at El Reducto, featuring top artists such as Maikel Delacalle, Eva Ruiz, Carmen Hernández, Soge Culebra, and DJs Verse and Ale Ossorio.
The event was organised by the Department of Festivities, led by Deputy Mayor Echedey Eugenio, alongside the Youth Area of Arrecife City Council, managed by Rosmen Quevedo. Both officials highlighted “the magnificent public response and the excellent level of the concert”, which was part of the official programme for the San Ginés Festivities 2025.
Maikel Delacalle Surprises with Eva Ruiz
The Tenerife artist Maikel Delacalle created the most memorable moment of the night by inviting Lanzarote’s own Eva Ruiz onto the stage, establishing a unique connection with the audience. His performance confirmed why he is regarded as one of the most influential voices in urban music in Spain.
This concert featured an exclusive aspect, as it was the only performance by Maikel Delacalle in Spain in 2025, showcasing tracks from his acclaimed gold album Replay, with which he has redefined the urban genre by blending R&B, hip hop, and dancehall.
A Memorable Event in the San Ginés Festivities
The young audience also enjoyed performances from Carmen Hernández, Soge Culebra, and sets from DJs Verse and Ale Ossorio, which kept the energy levels high throughout the night.
The stage set up at El Reducto further established Arrecife as the cultural and musical epicentre of Lanzarote, reaffirming the City Council’s commitment to offering a diverse programme that combines tradition, youth, and modernity.
