The 32nd San Ginés Rock Festival Triumphs on its Return to the Plaza de El Almacén
The 32nd San Ginés Rock Festival established itself as one of the most significant musical events of the summer in Lanzarote, attracting a huge audience to the Plaza de El Almacén.
The iconic location returned as the festival’s venue after several editions at the Youth House, achieving two nights filled with musical intensity, energy, and live guitars.

The programme featured a top-level lineup, headlined by Koma, a cornerstone of Spanish metal and urban rock, and the band S, comprised of former members of Sugarless, with Lanzarote native Sammy as the vocalist.
The audience also enjoyed the power and diversity of local acts such as Cosecha Urbana, K-tharsis, Autofilia, Skatoons, and Azarug, who provided a wide range of styles from classic rock to ska and contemporary fusions.
The Youth Councillor, Rosmen Quevedo, emphasised the significance of the event:
“The San Ginés Rock Festival is part of the cultural identity of Arrecife, an event that each year brings together different generations around live music, projecting the city as a benchmark for youth dynamism and culture.”
Furthermore, Quevedo appreciated the overwhelming response from the public and the talent of the bands, noting that “recovering the Plaza de El Almacén has been a success, an open space that has allowed everyone to enjoy the festival in a unique atmosphere.”
The youth programming of the Fiestas de San Ginés was completed with the Tardeo Joven, held on Avenida Vargas, featuring performances from Naife, Los Callaos, and DJ CHK, bringing together numerous young people in a festive and communal environment.
