Severe Injuries for 75-Year-Old Woman Following Accident in Gran Canaria

On Thursday afternoon at 14:44, a serious incident occurred on the GC-110 road in Tafira, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A 75-year-old woman has sustained severe injuries after being hit by a vehicle, as reported by the 1-1-2 Canarias emergency services.

The emergency alert was received by the Coordinating Centre for Emergency and Security (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands, indicating that the woman required medical assistance following the incident.

Emergency Response

Medical personnel from the SUC assessed and assisted the injured individual, who presented with serious polytrauma at the initial stage of care. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín for further treatment.

The Guardia Civil is conducting the necessary investigation into the accident.
