Severe Motorcycle Accident Leaves 54-Year-Old Man Injured in Puerto de la Cruz

A 54-year-old man was left severely injured early on Saturday morning after suffering a motorcycle accident on Doctor Celestino González Padrón Street in the Tenerife municipality of Puerto de la Cruz.

The incident occurred around 01:50 hours, when the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert regarding the accident.

The Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) dispatched a medicalised ambulance and a basic life support ambulance to the scene. The motorcyclist sustained a severe head injury, prompting immediate assistance, stabilisation, and transfer to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.

Local police officers also participated in the operation and carried out the necessary procedures.
