Tenerife: Global Epicentre of Electronic Music with Zamna Festival

The event will be held on 27th September at the Auditorio de Tenerife, featuring prominent international figures such as Artbat.

Tenerife will become the global epicentre of electronic music on 27th September with the Zamna Festival. This prestigious international event will take place at the Auditorio de Tenerife and will feature notable figures such as Artbat, Jan Blomqvist, Joris Voorn, and Henri Bergmann. The show, blending music, art, and technology, places the island alongside other venues the festival will visit this year, including San Francisco, Toronto, Buenos Aires, Dubai, and Amsterdam.

The Vice-President and Councillor for Tourism of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Lope Afonso, stated, “Tenerife joining cities like San Francisco, Toronto, Dubai, and Amsterdam in this festival circuit clearly shows our potential as a top-level cultural and musical destination. The Cabildo de Tenerife continues to work on diversifying our tourist offer.”

The Managing Director of Turismo de Tenerife, Dimple Melwani, pointed out that the Zamna Festival is landing in Tenerife for the first time. It is a renowned electronic music festival featuring internationally acclaimed artists, known for its immersive events in Tulum and other cities worldwide, with a unique essence: connecting music, nature, and architecture in iconic locations. Tenerife is once again becoming the epicentre of music, showcasing different styles and solidifying the island’s status as a major musical hub, Melwani highlighted.

Zamna, the production company that has revolutionised the global scene with its outstanding festivals, is organising an event that will feature a lineup of top-tier artists and an exceptional stage presence. The heart of the show will be an impressive LED screen measuring 25 metres wide by 15 metres high, upon which the official visuals of Zamna will be projected alongside those created by the artists themselves.

The exterior of the Auditorio will come alive thanks to a display of 3D video mapping that will transform its iconic façade into a vibrant canvas, establishing a hypnotic dialogue between architecture and music. Inside, over a hundred movable lighting fixtures will join an array of fire and CO₂ effects, creating an immersive atmosphere where every corner of the space will pulse to the rhythm of the sound.

World-Class Artists

This event brings together major names from the global electronic scene and will include several historic debuts in the archipelago. Among them, the highly anticipated first performance in the Canary Islands by Artbat, the Ukrainian duo that has established itself as a global reference with their unmistakable melodic and powerful sound. British artist Henri Bergmann, known for the elegance and strength of her sets, will also make her debut in the islands.

Adding to the lineup is Jan Blomqvist, a pioneer of German live electronic music, who will arrive in Tenerife with a performance rich in sensitivity and innovation, making his first appearance in the archipelago another highlight of the day. The experience will be enhanced by the return of Dutch legend Joris Voorn to the Canary Islands. The international connection will be balanced with local talent thanks to the presence of Zamna Soundsystem, Anabel Sigel, and Alenderson, artists who will represent the energy of the islands at this world-class event.

The Zamna brand will also be reflected in the ambience. The area surrounding the Auditorio will be transformed into a lush jungle, where vibrant vegetation, organic structures, and decorative details will create a unique universe in which nature and technology merge. This will be complemented by a state-of-the-art sound system designed to ensure a crystal-clear and immersive experience where every frequency can be felt both in the body and the spirit.

With this production, Zamna not only expands its international footprint but also places the Canary Islands on the global map of electronic music. The event on 27th September in Tenerife will not just be a concert, but a 360º immersive experience that will be etched in the collective memory as a turning point for the cultural and musical scene of the archipelago.
