Tenerife Fairgrounds Becomes a ‘Pet Friendly’ Space

The Vice President of the fair institution, Manuel Fernández, explains that “with this decision, we are meeting a demand from our visitors.”

The Tenerife Fairgrounds has officially become a ‘pet friendly’ space. According to Manuel Fernández, the vice president of the Tenerife fair institution, “with this decision, we are meeting a demand from our visitors.”

Fernández highlights that “our objective is to promote responsible coexistence and family integration within our facilities.”

New Regulations for Pet Access

As a ‘pet friendly’ space, the Fairgrounds has established new regulations aimed at fostering respectful coexistence, aligned with existing municipal, regional, and national regulations concerning Animal Welfare and Animal Protection.

From now on, pets will have access to the common areas of the Fairgrounds, with the exception of restrooms, breastfeeding rooms, the café, offices, musical and gastronomic events, and the Tenerife Children’s Park.

Guide dogs and those belonging to the State Security Forces, while performing their duties, are exempt from this regulation, with specific legislation applicable in these cases.
