Pedro Rosa Quintet arrives in Lanzarote with their album “Midnight Alvorada” at the Tensamba Festival
El Almacén will be the venue for one of the most anticipated events in contemporary Brazilian music. On the upcoming Friday, 5th September, at 20:00 hours, the Pedro Rosa Quintet will perform live their acclaimed work “Midnight Alvorada”, as part of the 22nd edition of the Tensamba Festival.
The album “Midnight Alvorada”, created alongside poet and lyricist Rafael Mourão, is more than just a record. It is an experience that invites one to look, listen, and feel with empathy. Pedro Rosa’s compositions explore the beauty and contradiction of the human experience, offering authenticity, shared emotion, and a spiritual connection with the listener.
In quintet format, the ensemble expands its rhythmic and timbral palette, embracing the richness of Brazilian culture and projecting it onto global stages. All of this is achieved without losing their musical roots.
