Warning for High Waves from Monday on the West Coast of Fuerteventura

The calima will finally depart this Monday after 20 days of suspended dust in the atmosphere. The trade winds will carry the dust southwards.

Temperatures are expected to remain stable, with some slight increases, but the presence of moderate northerly winds will make it feel cooler. Nevertheless, the week is expected to maintain a summery feel.

Take Care with Sea Conditions

The influence of tropical storm Erin in the northern Atlantic will generate strong sea conditions around the islands starting Monday. Caution is advised along the west coast of Fuerteventura, as waves could reach heights of up to four metres. This situation is expected to last until Wednesday.
