The Palace of Training and Conferences in Fuerteventura has posted a sold-out sign for the show “Braulio. 8 Decades”, produced by Camino Viejo Producciones. Twenty-four hours after the Council announced the concert, there isn’t a free seat left in the hall.
Many people are left outside, but many others will be able to enjoy the event, which features a live band and a repertoire that spans half a century of the artist’s career.
According to the organisers, the concert aims to connect generations through music and the stories of the singer-songwriter, as well as assert the link between music and Canary culture to inspire new talents and showcase the creation of the Archipelago.
Born in Santa María de Guía (Gran Canaria), Braulio is the Favourite Son of his hometown. The organisation highlights a career marked by Gold and Platinum Records, nominations for the Grammy, and collaborations with artists such as Alfredo Kraus, Los Sabandeños, Dyango or Cheo Feliciano.
The event is organised by the Canary Institute of Cultural Development (Government of the Canary Islands) along with the Palace of Training and Conferences of the Department of Culture of the Fuerteventura Council. Should any tickets become available, they will be accessible on www.culturafuerteventura.es.
