Organised by the Los Pitufos and Los Geranios Residents’ Association, with the collaboration of the Festivals Department led by Deputy Mayor Echedey Eugenio, the programme will feature a drag queen gala, a performance by Pepe Benavente, and traditional music among other events.
The Los Pitufos and Los Geranios Residents’ Association, chaired by Melquiades García, is organising the patron saint festivities in Tinasoria in collaboration with the Festivals Department of the Arrecife City Council, led by Deputy Mayor Echedey Eugenio.
The opening ceremony will take place at 20:30 on Sunday, 21st, conducted by Ángela Morales Ascensión, a local resident, at the sports court in front of the Tinasoria Sociocultural Centre, marking the start of the celebrations in honour of San Genaro.
The programme will run until Sunday, 28th, and will include performances from groups and soloists such as Kódigo 4, Lanzarote Swing, Los Jarvac, Tremendo Son, and Vocal Force, as well as the Canarian singer Pepe Benavente and a drag queen gala.
Additional events will feature performances by the traditional music groups Los Gurfines del Puerto and El Golpito, along with karaoke sessions for seniors and youth, and a water fiesta, catering to all audiences.
