The Councillor for Tourism at the Fuerteventura Cabildo, Marlene Figueroa, highlighted “this tourist quality seal, which reflects the tourism sector’s commitment to the quality and sustainability of the destination. Continuous improvement is sought not only by the Tourism Board but also by the sector itself.”

Councillor Figueroa presented the distinctions alongside local councillors: Rosa Rodríguez (Puerto del Rosario), Dulce García (Tuineje), David Fajardo (La Oliva), and Juan José Rodríguez (La Oliva).

Strengthening the Local Economy

The Tourism Board continues to work on strengthening the training and development of local businesses, ensuring that Fuerteventura offers its visitors a quality experience.
