The Lanzarote Consortium for Safety and Emergencies reported that the incident was classified as a level 1 service. Emergency personnel from Park Sur Bravo 2 attended, along with officers from the Civil Guard, Tías Local Police, and an ambulance from the Canary Health Service.

The Car Was Empty

Upon arrival at the accident scene, firefighters found the vehicle was unoccupied. In light of this, a search was initiated in the surrounding area to locate the driver, but the search proved unsuccessful.

The most likely hypothesis is that the individual left the area on their own, though the exact causes of the incident have not yet been determined.

As a precaution, the team disconnected the car’s battery to prevent electrical hazards or fire risks. Subsequently, they cordoned off the vehicle with safety tape and cleared the roadway, as the collision left debris on the road. Damaged containers were also removed to restore normal traffic flow.
