Firefighters from the Consortium for Safety and Emergencies of the Lanzarote Island Council responded in the early hours of Saturday at around 6:56 am to reports of a traffic accident involving a rollover on the LZ-504 road between Macher and Puerto del Carmen.

Upon arriving at the scene, they confirmed that the vehicle had collided with several containers and there was no one inside the vehicle. An ambulance, Civil Guard, and local police were also present at the location. The firefighters proceeded to disconnect the battery.

A search for the driver was conducted in the surrounding area. Subsequently, the vehicle was cordoned off with tape, the roadway was cleared, and the damaged containers were removed, concluding their service.
