Coalición Canaria in Vilaflor de Chasna has condemned the local government group of the PSOE for its inaction after more than two years of waiting for the repair of the fence in the area known as La Roquesa.
“This neglect projects an image of carelessness that damages the reputation of our municipality and highlights the current government’s lack of commitment to maintaining basic infrastructure,” states the spokesperson for the nationalists, Jesús Quijada.
From CC in Vilaflor de Chasna, they recall that the pending repair is due to a traffic accident that occurred in the area, with the administrative processes related to the involved vehicle still unresolved after over two years. “If a matter as simple as this takes so long, what can we expect from the management of larger projects?” they criticise.
The nationalists find it incomprehensible that significant amounts of public money are allocated to poorly planned projects while essential and low-cost actions, such as ensuring the safety of residents and visitors at a busy point in the municipality, are neglected.
Jesús Quijada demands that the government group of the PSOE “act urgently, repair the fence at La Roquesa, and prioritise addressing the real needs of the municipality, setting aside the improvisation and disinterest that, in the organisation’s view, characterise their management.”
