The weather forecast for the Canary Islands today indicates overcast conditions in the north, with a low probability of light and occasional rain, mainly in the northeast during the first half of the day, clearing during the central hours.
In the remaining areas, conditions will be mostly clear, with only occasional clouds in the interior, as reported by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
Temperatures will remain relatively stable, ranging from a maximum of 29 degrees in Tenerife to a minimum of 20 degrees on the island of El Hierro.
Winds will be moderate from the northeast, with strong intervals in the extreme west and southeast slopes, while lighter winds will prevail in the summits, predominantly from the north.
Gran Canaria Forecast
In northern Gran Canaria, there is a low chance of light and occasional rain, mainly in the midlands during the first half of the day, decreasing to cloudy intervals during the central hours. The rest of the area will be mostly clear.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura Outlook
As for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, there will be cloudy intervals at the beginning and end of the day, which will tend towards clearer skies for the remainder of the day.
Temperature and Wind Conditions
Temperatures will experience little change overall. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, thermometers will range between a minimum of 23ºC and a maximum of 25ºC.
Regarding wind conditions, it will blow moderately from the northeast, with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes, where some gusts may be very strong during the latter part of the day. In the summits, winds will be light, predominantly from the north.
