Weather Advisory for Lanzarote and La Graciosa

This Saturday, Lanzarote and La Graciosa will experience a day characterised by haze, medium and high clouds, with a slight drop in temperatures expected, according to the weather forecast for 20th September. Although haze will accompany this anticipated phenomenon, it is expected to gradually diminish throughout the afternoon.

Winds will blow moderately from the north, although strong gusts are forecast for the southern half of both islands.

Despite the moderate decrease in temperatures, it’s still possible that southern areas of both islands could reach up to 34 degrees. Residents are advised to adhere to the preventive measures issued by the Canary Islands Government. These include avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun, staying well hydrated throughout the day, and limiting outdoor physical activities during the hottest hours of Saturday. Additionally, special attention should be given to elderly individuals, vulnerable groups, and children.
