The Strength of the Trade Winds on Fuerteventura
The intensity of the trade winds will continue to rise at the start of the week but will decrease from Wednesday onwards.
September begins breezy on the island of Fuerteventura, with the trade winds making a strong entrance. The wind will also bring considerable wave activity, particularly on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Conditions are expected to improve by Wednesday, with lighter winds and sunny days anticipated, at least until the weekend.
Great caution is advised in areas exposed to the trade winds, such as the north and northwest of the island, as well as the southeast. Wave heights of up to 2.5 metres may be recorded in the north and west of the island.
