The headquarters of the Asamblea Majorera – Coalición Canaria in various municipalities across the island will serve as collection points this Thursday, 28 August, as part of a solidarity campaign to provide school supplies to less privileged families, initiated by the Majoreros Solidarios association. The Young Nationalists of Fuerteventura are joining this school supplies collection campaign.
This initiative, in collaboration with the Young Nationalists of Fuerteventura, allows the public to donate between 17:00 and 20:00 at locations in Corralejo, Puerto del Rosario, Antigua, Gran Tarajal, Betancuria, and Pájara.

Each municipal headquarters will act as a support point, with addresses spread across the main towns: from Juan Sebastián El Cano Street in Corralejo to Garachico Street in Betancuria, including locations in the island’s capital, Tuineje, Antigua, and Pájara.
The items most requested by families, as highlighted by the organisation, include backpacks, notebooks, pencil cases, pencils, pens, colouring materials, rulers, folders, and other essential supplies for the school year. Contributions of more specific items, such as scientific calculators, compasses, planners, or replacement sheets, are also welcome.
The youth nationalist organisation emphasises that through this collaboration, they aim to support the work of Majoreros Solidarios and help alleviate the financial burden that the start of the school year represents for many families in Fuerteventura. The Young Nationalists of Fuerteventura are proud to join the school supplies collection campaign initiated by Majoreros Solidarios.
