Marina Lanzarote Enhances Summer Experience with Exciting New Programme
Marina Lanzarote takes a significant step forward in its commitment to providing experiences that connect with both residents and visitors, establishing itself as a premier venue for leisure, culture, and sport on the island. Over the coming months, the marina will launch a comprehensive programme of activities designed to energise its facilities and reinforce its role as a gathering place for unique moments by the sea.
Summer Cinema Series
The season kicks off with one of the year’s major highlights: the inaugural edition of the Marina Lanzarote Outdoor Cinema, a programme crafted for enjoying summer nights with family and friends. The opening event will take place on 10 June, featuring a screening of the film Wicked. This initiative is set to continue monthly, aiming to become one of the must-try activities of the summer.
Live Music Events
Music will once again echo through the marina with Marina Suena – Notes in the Wind, an initiative focusing on the intimacy and excitement of live concerts in a smaller format. This time, the spotlight will be on Duo Bravo, who will deliver a graceful performance of piano and vocals in an evening designed for enjoying music in an exclusive and welcoming environment.
Sporting Events
Sport will also feature prominently in Marina Lanzarote’s agenda. From 10 to 11 July, the marina will host the well-established Summer Challenge, an event that attracts athletes and enthusiasts alike, centring around one of the summer’s most anticipated competitions.
Additionally, cycling enthusiasts will have the chance to partake in a social ride organised in collaboration with Q36.5 and Tribike, an experience that fuses sport, community, and a passion for cycling.
August and September Highlights
The activities will continue in August with the prestigious Trofeo César Manrique de Cruceros, one of the leading nautical events in the Canary Islands, which will once again fill the bay of Arrecife with excitement and spectacle.
September will bring one of the archipelago’s foremost cultural events: Arrecife en Vivo. Marina Lanzarote will return as an official festival venue, bringing the best live music to thousands of attendees. As a new addition, on 5 September, it will host the Arrecife en Vivo Channel, a special day dedicated to local talent, featuring several bands from Lanzarote in a festive and engaging atmosphere.
Community Engagement
This programming builds on the success of activities held over recent months, such as Mother’s Day and the special Marina Suena – Día de Canarias, initiatives that received excellent feedback and strengthened the connection between Marina Lanzarote and the local community.
With this new agenda, Marina Lanzarote reaffirms its commitment to offering much more than a marina: a vibrant space to enjoy culture, sport, gastronomy, and leisure in one of the island’s most coveted locations.
