Seventy-Three-Year-Old Woman Rescued After Falling Into Sea in Tenerife
A 73-year-old woman was rescued on Sunday after falling into the sea while riding an adapted electric scooter in Puerto Colón, Adeje, Tenerife. The emergency services received a call about the incident at approximately 2:20 PM, prompting an immediate response from the Centro Coordinador de Emergencias y Seguridad (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The woman was pulled from the water by the crew of a nearby boat and showed signs of severe drowning. Paramedics from the SUC provided immediate assistance and, once stabilised, she was taken to Hospiten Sur for further treatment.
Local police are handling the investigation into the incident.
