Granca Live Fest Kicks Off with Anticipation
The fifth edition of the Granca Live Fest has begun at the Gran Canaria Stadium, attracting over 90,000 attendees. The festival, running until July 5, features a lively mix of performances and a touch of local flair, despite some controversy surrounding delays from international artist Lauryn Hill, as noted by Viva Suecia.
On the opening night, the line-up included a range of artists such as Playa Coco, Ptazeta, Dani Fernández, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Viva Suecia, resulting in a successful start.
Friday’s Highlights: Danny Ocean, Juan Luis Guerra, and Lola Índigo
Today, the festival continues, with doors opening at 5 PM. The evening kicks off with DJ Conjurer, followed by performances from Wendy Fátima Falcón and Melania. La Pantera will take the stage at 6 PM, replacing Omar Courtz, before Carlos Rivera at 7:30 PM and Danny Ocean at 9 PM. Juan Luis Guerra is set to perform at 10:30 PM, with Lola Índigo closing the night at 12:15 AM.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Aitana’s performance, scheduled for midnight on Saturday.
Saturday’s Line-Up
The festival resumes on Saturday, July 4, starting again at 5 PM. The first act will be Agua del Chorro at 6 PM, followed by Grupo Frontera at 7 PM. Dani Martín is expected on stage at 8:45 PM, leading up to Alejandro Sanz at approximately 10:25 PM. Aitana will conclude the night at 12:15 AM, complemented by performances from local DJ Quique Serra and urban artist Pablo Batista.
Sunday: Maroon 5 to Close the Fest
The final day on July 5 will see the festival opening at 6 PM, with Monkey Faces performing at 6:30 PM. Postcode will follow at 7:45 PM, leading to the grand finale with Maroon 5 at 9 PM, wrapping up four days of music in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
