Serious Accident in Tejina Tunnel Leaves 24-Year-Old Injured
A 24-year-old man sustained serious injuries after his vehicle collided with a wall inside the Tejina tunnel on the TF-82 road in Guía de Isora, Tenerife, shortly after 12:40 am on Sunday.
Emergency services, including the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), Tenerife Fire Consortium, and the Civil Guard, were quickly dispatched to the scene. Firefighters worked to free the driver from the wreckage and secured the area.
Medical personnel provided assistance and stabilisation before transporting the injured man to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria, where he was treated for severe multiple injuries.
The Civil Guard managed traffic flow while conducting the necessary investigations, and road service crews marked the accident site and cleared the roadway.
